The Comeback kids were at it again last night but it took longer to complete the comeback then it did on Sunday Night at the GP County Sportsplex. The Kings spotted the Ft. St. John Huskies a 3-0 lead on the second period last night in FSJ before deciding it was time to get going late in the 2nd period. Kevin Henley got the team going with his first NWJHL goal from Ryan Trudeau and Corey Wamsteeker cut the lead to 1 less than a minute later with Henley getting the assist to put the pressure on the hometwon Huskies heading into the second intermission. The game remained tied until late in the third period when Henley scored his 2nd of the night from Trudeau and Bishop to send the game to OT. Goalie Tyler Moffatt was the story in the overtime period stopping to breakaways and more. The game looked as though it would head to triple OT until Lyndin Lewis noticed Bishop who had been open in the slot for what seemed like forever and he buried it to give the Kings a commanding 3-1 series lead heading home for Game 5 on Thursday Night at 8:30pm at the County Sportsplex. We look forward to seeing all you hockey fans at the rink on Thursday Night to cheer the boys on to a series win and a birth in the NWJHL finals.
