Kings Host Flyers in Semi-Final Series

February 23, 2015

Your JDA Kings (24-5-0-1) will host the Fairview Flyers (20-8-0-2) in the best of seven league semi final series. The Kings finished in second place during the regular season with the Flyers taking the 3rd place spot. In the regular season series between the two teams the Kings won three of the five games. One in regulation time, one on overtime and one in a shootout. The Flyers victories came in regulation and a shootout so it should proof to be a very tight series. The series also features the two top scorers in the league in CGP’s Corey Wamsteeker and Fairview’s Doug Morris and 7 0f the top 8 in the league so it should be an offensive series but may come down to the league leader in save percentage, JDA  goalie Andy Gilker.

The schedule for the series is still being worked on but keep an eye on the Kings website as it will be posted as soon as it is set!

In the league’s other semi-final the 1st place North Peace Navigators (26-3-0-1) have home ice advantage against the 5th place Ft. St. John Huskies (14-16-0-0) who swept the Dawson Creek Jr. Canucks in their quarterfinal series winning each game by only one goal.
