Kings and Stordy Slay the Snakes

Mitch Stordy got his first goal of the season early in the game, decided not to stop at one and lead the JDA Kings with four goals to a 12-3 victory over the Sexsmith Vipers on Friday night at the Crosslink County Sportsplex. The game stayed somewhat close until late in the second period when the Kings opened up a 4 goal lead and after that the parade to the penalty box started and for all intents and purposes the game was over. Cam Smith stopped 26 of 29 shots in his first regular season junior hockey start while the Kings fired 57 shots at Sexsmith starter Spencer Markovich.

The Kings next game is Thursday October 30th at 8pm at the Crosslink County Sportsplex  when the host the Beaverlodge Blades.
